The Harris Group

Recently, Year 5 pupils from Harris academies enjoyed a unique experience at the Royal Opera House where they performed Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’ alongside seasoned professionals, including a talented cast and orchestra. Former students also joined us for the performance, showing their support and thoroughly enjoying the experience themselves.

For many of our Year 5 students, this was their first introduction to opera and theatre. Their enthusiasm highlighted the wide-spread appeal of opera and its ability to captivate audiences of all ages.

Alongside this event, the Royal Opera House has announced apprenticeships starting in September 2024. These apprenticeships are designed for individuals aged 18 and above, offering hands-on experience in Technical Theatre, Costume Making, Carpentry, Marketing, and Business Administration.
