In transforming the life chances of thousands of children from working class and disadvantaged backgrounds, we have needed support from others who share our goals and who believe in what we can do.  Through their generosity, we have been able to:

• Create a £1.6m Coronavirus Hardship Fund, which ensured our  pupils had the food, computers and internet they needed during the national lockdown 
• Invest in additional counselling to support the mental health and wellbeing of our pupils
• Increase the teaching time at Harris Westminster Sixth Form, so that its pupils – who are some of the brightest but most economically disadvantaged children in London – can compete fairly and successfully for places at top universities
• Launch England’s first completely free nursery for the poorest children 
• Provide one-to-one tutoring as well as a series of Holiday Schools and Saturday Schools to improve outcomes 
• Reduce class sizes in some of our primary academies
• Remove financial stress from our sixth formers, giving our academically able but economically disadvantaged pupils bursaries to help pay for their university education
• Restock our libraries 
• Teach Chinese as a core subject at our academies
