Harris Academy East Dulwich Students and Parents Interviewed by Baroness Floella Benjamin on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme
As part of BBC Radio 4 Today Programme’s Christmas Guest Editor series, Baroness Floella Benjamin visited Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich.
The students eloquently explained how they approach a range of challenges in both their academic and personal lives, while parents discussed the difficulties of parenting through both the rise of social media and the challenging times of the COVID pandemic.
Separately, the group discussed the television content targeted towards secondary school students, with parents highlighting that, while there is a range of appropriate television content produced for younger children, there is not enough relevant programming for secondary students.
