Cost of Living
We know that members of our community have been disproportionately impacted by the cost of living crisis.
Like it was during the Covid-19 pandemic, we know that the poorest members of our communities are most affected by increasing costs of fuel, food and rising inflation. In some of our academies, more than half of our pupils who are living on or below the poverty line: many of these families are dreading the coming winter.
To respond to our supporters wishes to get involved, we’re seeking donations to our Hardship Fund. This is used across our academies, to support our hardest hit families: with food, uniforms and other essentials.
"The Harris Hardship Fund has been a lifeline for our pupils and families in the most extreme of situations, making a direct, immediate and tangible difference to their lives." Principal in a Harris secondary Academy
