Y12 Harris Experience Advanced - Imperial
Tuesday the 25th of March was an exciting day for our Y12 students who had successfully applied to our trip to Imperial College London - competition was tough, the students who had gotten onto the trip had sent us really good applications regarding why they wanted to attend.
The day began with the Imperial outreach officer's talk on what it is like to study at Imperial and a description of the different facilities and opportunities available to current students. A PhD student also came to explain her research on hair regeneration, which the students very much enjoyed, and explained why she had stayed at Imperial after completing her undergraduate with an integrated masters there.
It is always valuable hearing from current students; the six students who came gave their knowledge and insight on a variety of topics; from their individual subjects to application processes to why they chose Imperial. After the Q&A session, they gave group tours around the campus, allowing our students to ask more questions. Thank you to the Imperial team!
